These terms govern portrait sessions, event photography, walk-in express photos, old photo restoration, and 1209 Studio Rewards in Achiase, Eastern Region, Ghana.

01 · BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Deposits & balances

  • Walk-in Express Photos & Reprints: Paid in full on collection (Cash or Mobile Money).
  • Portrait Sessions & Events: A 50% booking deposit is required to hold a date and time. Dates are not reserved until the deposit is confirmed.
  • Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of the shoot, prior to final unwatermarked digital or print delivery.
02 · RESCHEDULING & PUNCTUALITY

Changes to your date

  • Free Reschedule: Portrait sessions may be rescheduled once at no extra charge when you notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Late Arrival: Please arrive on time so you receive your full session duration. Arriving late may reduce shooting time if another client is booked immediately after you.
  • Events: Event scope, location, travel outside Achiase District, and hours are agreed in writing on WhatsApp before deposit payment.
03 · PROOFS, EDITING & DELIVERY

From proof to final print

  • Watermarked Proofs: Proofs carry the 1209 STUDIO mark and are provided strictly for choosing your favourite images. Proofs may not be screenshotted or cropped as final images.
  • Final Delivery: Paid selections are delivered as high-resolution print files plus web/social-ready sRGB files within the promised turnaround (typically 3–10 working days depending on package).
  • Raw Camera Files: Original unedited camera RAW files remain internal studio working files and are not part of standard packages.
04 · OLD PHOTO RESTORATION

Restoration & retouching

  • Original Prints: Physical family or memorial photographs brought in for restoration are scanned carefully at the studio and returned to you intact.
  • Realistic Expectations: We repair creases, tears, spots, and fading to the highest practical standard; severely missing facial details are reconstructed conservatively so the subject still looks authentic.
05 · USAGE RIGHTS & COPYRIGHT

Sharing your photographs

  • Your Personal & Social Use: Once paid in full, you have full personal permission to print, frame, and share your delivered photographs with family and on social media (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Studio Privacy Rule: In accordance with Ghana’s Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690) and Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), 1209 Studio will never publish your private photographs without your separate consent.
06 · 1209 STUDIO REWARDS

Redeemable studio credit

  • Earning Credit: Earn GH₵1.00 per completed job, GH₵1.00 for voluntary public gallery consent (signed electronically with your initials under Ghana’s Electronic Transactions Act, Act 772), and GH₵0.50 for sharing our website on social media (1 rewarded share per job).
  • Redemption: Studio credit is non-cash promotional credit redeemable towards reprints, extra edited images, photo restoration, or framed portraits at 1209 Studio.
